Role Overview
- Functions as a senior engineering technician, technical design specialist and/or supervisor
- Applies advanced technical expertise to address complex design challenges
- Contributes to the development of innovative engineering solutions
- Utilizes digital tools and design software in conjunction with standardized procedures
- Provides consultation, training, and oversight to other engineering technicians
- Responsible for drawing control and historical records
- Communicates project design requirements, progress, and schedules
- Coordinates with other design group personnel to review and exchange project information
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
- Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology (preferred)
- Minimum of 11 years related work experience
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search)
- Proficiency in technical design, advanced technical expertise, CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling
- Ability to apply judgment and make decisions with respect to deliverables and input interpretation
