Develop an annual Marketing plan for the Canadian market by recommending meaningful programs to support our commercial priorities, and prepare and manage related marketing budget
Become a brand champion for our wound and tissue repair products, including positioning and messaging, and understanding our key audiences and competitors
Design, develop and launch original marketing initiatives to drive new business as well as sales and customer retention
Critical review of the product portfolio (upcoming and existing), make recommendations, and launch those relevant for the Canadian market, including product positioning, pricing, and managing launch forecasts
Establish close working relationships across our Canadian commercial team as well as with a select number of healthcare professionals to become speakers and opinion leaders for our solutions
Take ownership of our Canadian content on our sales enablement platform (Showpad) and print solution, ensuring sales tools are organized and named consistently, and content is reviewed and rationalized
Provide support for RFI/RFP contract opportunities, including marketing input on product positioning, clinical evidence, health economic argumentation, and reviewing product cross reference sheets
Assist in developing and delivering training programs and sales tools to support the sales force in response to customer and competitive needs
Obtain understanding and stay current on the needs and dynamics of the Canadian market such that critical decisions are informed with this input.
Requirements
BS/BA in Marketing or Business, MBA preferred
4+ Years successful experience in Marketing with direct responsibility for managing a product portfolio and related to the core functions of the role
Previous experience managing people and complex marketing projects
Hybrid position with a minimum of 2 days working in our Oakville, ON office
Experience working with a direct field sales team
Must demonstrate excellent writing skills to monitor and develop professional messaging
Core skills to include strong/compelling communication, organizational, project management, and presentation skills
Proven ability to lead, manage, and prioritize multiple cross-functional projects while adhering to deadlines
Ability to navigate the complexity of a global organization in a regulated industry
Willingness to join a team who values listening, mutual respect, and collaboration
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency required
Able and willing to travel domestically within Canada up to 25% of the time, as well as occasional international travel, including to the US.
