Help with research and development programs throughout all phases of the design process
Develop and implement design requirements, test plans, specifications, and procedures following quality assurance program requirements
Collaborate with materials teams in design of high temperature / corrosion compatible test articles and in analyzation of test articles using specialized mechanical / material analyses
Coordinate with site environmental health and safety to design and implement safety protocols into benchtop prototyping
Perform and complete experiments in compliance with quality assurance and safety requirements
Reduce and analyze large datasets using Matlab, Diadem, or Mathcad
Design test articles and prototypes using standard engineering practices and finite element analysis
Prepare detailed sketches, 3D models, and drawings using Auto Cad, Inventor, and SolidWorks
Hands-on fabrication and assembly of test fixtures and production equipment
Hands-on installation and troubleshooting of instrumentation and equipment controls
Requirements
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, general, robotics, material, or chemical engineering
