Advise Nasdaq's Digital Assets business on evolving legal and regulatory requirements for digital asset securities, crypto trading, tokenization, and blockchain products
Draft and review regulatory filings, legal documents, and submissions required to advance business objectives and maintain compliance
Provide guidance on federal securities and commodities laws, anti-money laundering regulations, and state and international regulatory frameworks
Partner with cross-functional teams across the U.S. and Europe to align legal strategy with business priorities
Support investigations, litigation matters, and enforcement inquiries while advising on company policies and legal requirements
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership in good standing
10–12 years of legal experience with significant focus on digital assets, cryptocurrency, or blockchain regulatory matters
In-house legal experience at a digital assets company or law firm experience advising digital asset clients
Strong ability to apply federal securities and commodities laws to emerging digital asset markets
Clear communicator with experience in collaborative, cross-functional legal environments
Prior experience at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) (preferred)
Expertise in anti-money laundering (AML) laws and regulations (preferred)
Familiarity with international digital asset regulations and cross-border compliance frameworks (preferred)
