Responsible for safe and effective clinical health services delivery and facility operations for a site/local geographical area when the health services leadership team is not available.
Reporting to the Clinical Leadership, this position will be actively engaged in providing leadership to the staff to achieve the operational priorities of the service delivery organization (SDO).
Ensure strong communication pathways between onsite staff, scheduling and managers.
Foster/facilitate interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships to ensure a high standard of patient/resident/client care through modelling care and service with compassion and respect.
Manage emergency situations that arise and support staff well-being and communication protocols based on approved algorithms and pathways.
Requirements

5 years of leadership experience in a patient/resident/client care setting.
Post-secondary degree in a relevant health discipline from an accredited post-secondary education institution is required.
Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate.
Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings.
A valid class 5 Manitoba driver’s license and access to a personal motor vehicle is required.
