About this role
Role Overview
Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective)
Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles, Scrum framework and best practices
Coach team members on Agile methodology and self-organization
Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress
Foster a collaborative, high-trust environment within the team
Support the Product Owner in maintaining a healthy product backlog
Track and communicate team progress through metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.)
Act as a liaison between development teams and stakeholders
Ensure transparency of team progress, risks and dependencies
Facilitate cross-team coordination in multi-team environments
Encourage innovation and experimentation within the team
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve delivery effectiveness
Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable outcomes
Identify, track and escalate risks or blockers
Anticipate and mitigate delivery issues
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager
Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile principles and frameworks (Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
Professional Scrum Master (PSM III), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred
Experience working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS)
Technical understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps or Rally
