About this role

Leads new product introduction (NPI) and process development efforts
Serves as the technical interface between customers, program management, and manufacturing
Conducts Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
Develops manufacturing process flows, work instructions, and tooling requirements
Supports first builds, pilot runs, and production ramp-up
Optimizes SMT, through-hole, box build, and test processes
Drives yield improvement, scrap reduction, and process capability
Supports root cause investigations and corrective actions
Partners cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Production
Interfaces with customers on technical and manufacturing topics

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field)
5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing
Experience supporting NPI in a contract manufacturing environment
Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in regulated industries (Medical, Aerospace, Defense)
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Knowledge of ERP/MRP and MES systems
