Support the team in managing client accounts and ensuring client satisfaction.
Assist in the development and execution of plans for R&D/pipeline communications, as well as for clinical trials communications.
Develop communications materials, including fact sheets and backgrounders, messaging documents, press releases, disease awareness content, clinical trial backgrounders and communications plans; conduct and oversee media monitoring reports.
Monitor project performance and support team in providing insights for delivering high-quality work to clients.
Keeps a pulse on industry, client, therapeutic area and competitor news to allow us to be strategic thought partners to senior leaders on the team and our clients.
Take ownership of smaller projects and ensure their timely and successful delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing support.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their career development and growth within Spectrum.
Requirements
Experience in R&D/pipeline communications, CTR communications and account management in a PR/Communications agency setting.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and VEEVA.
Strong active listening ability, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to determine priorities and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Regularly communicate status updates and determine when deliverables are ready for team review.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
An understanding and some experience working with advocacy teams.
Knowledge of how clinical trials including recruitment work.
An understanding of communications that sit above brands – R&D/pipeline communications.
