Manufacturing Engineering focal for assigned supplier base
Expected to own the technical performance of multiple suppliers so supplier travel will be frequent (25-50%)
Proactively identifies delivery barriers and resolves with fulfilment, commercial and quality team members
Acts as a Project Manager for large complex suppliers along with others
Guides and influences suppliers’ performance based on manufacturing expertise
Actively drives cost reduction efforts within assigned supply base and is proactively engaged in addressing cost issues
Partners with commercial owners to ensure supplier selection provides desired value
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Manufacturing)
At least 8 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Production Management
Expertise in programming or mechanically supporting traditional (milling, turning, broach, weld) and/or non-traditional (EDM, 3D printing) machining methods
Sourcing, Shop Operations, or Production Control expertise
Manufacturing Experience in Aerospace or Automotive a plus
