About this role
Role Overview
- translate complex transmission challenges into impactful solutions through "day-in-the-life" storytelling and technical leadership
- design and grow a deep understanding of GridOS AEMS and Wide Area Management Systems for prospects across the APAC region
- build credibility with customer technologists and internal GE Vernova stakeholders as a domain expert
- lead high-level presentations and technical demonstrations of the GridOS AEMS suite
- translate electrical market standards and regional regulations into GE Vernova’s integrated product offerings
- lead the development of technical proposals, ensuring they align with customer expectations and architectural requirements
- represent GE Vernova at sales forums, industry events, and conferences
- interface with global AEMS teams to standardize best practices using LEAN principles
- define AEMS control center configurations and design system architectures that meet both customer requirements and GE Vernova standards
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a customer-facing technical solution architect
- Bachelor’s Degree in Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering
- Familiarity with Transmission utility operations in the NAM region
- experience with SCADA operational control systems
- knowledge of State Estimation, Optimal Power Flow (OPF), Contingency Analysis, Security Constrained Dispatch, and Transmission Grid Stability
- experience with highly available, self-healing systems, containerization, and microservices
- understanding of DNP3, ICCP, and IEC 61850 standards
- knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational systems
- cross Functional knowledge and experience in Distribution Management and DERMS systems is a bonus
- experience designing operational systems in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
