Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contract proposals and pricing structures with clients and subcontractors.
Drafts, reviews, negotiates, and finalizes contracts/subcontracts (including amendments, renewals, and terminations) while ensuring high-quality and responsive contract execution.
Analyzing financial and contract data to develop pricing and contracting strategies that align with company goals.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including project management, finance, and business development—to lead contract discussions and support effective contract execution.
Evaluating contract and pricing risk factors and recommending solutions to support informed decision-making.
Maintaining and enhancing pricing models to ensure a smooth and efficient bidding process.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
At least 6 years of relevant professional experience
Experience with government contracting regulations and compliance in areas including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS and specific laws governing small businesses.
Experience with developing a cost or price estimate in support of a bid or in developing a proposal response.
Experience with contracts lifecycle management in areas including start-to-finish administration from proposal submission to contract closeout.
Experience with contract negotiation in areas including reaching favorable terms, resolving disputes and persuading parties.
Experience with technical writing in areas including drafting, reviewing, and interpreting complex legal and contractual documents and flow-down clauses from prime contracts.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office productivity software and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
Certificates in government contracts administration such as CPCM, CCCM and CCMA.
Experience with government wide acquisitions contracts (GWAC) in areas including compliance with terms and conditions for large GWACs including OASIS+, GSA Schedule and similar large multi-award vehicles.
Experience with pricing strategies in areas including firm fixed price, cost plus fixed fee, time and materials, cost/price analyses and price-to-win.
Able to work extra hours to meet time-sensitive bid deadlines.
Intermediate experience with AI tools, including their limitations and risks, and how they can be applied to support project management tasks.
