Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans to ensure all deliverable and quality standards are achieved
Estimate costs, resources, and timelines to meet program and business objectives
Perform cost forecasting, resource planning, and trend analysis to support program performance
Monitor and analyze project progress (cost, schedule, and technical performance) to ensure alignment with established objectives
Lead weekly project reviews to track status, resolve open issues, and drive task execution
Conduct critical path analysis and collaborate closely with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to manage workflow and priorities
Identify , assess, and escalate project risks as needed; develop and implement corrective actions
Lead root cause analysis efforts to resolve technical and programmatic challenges
Oversee Engineering Changes (Class 1 and Class 2) and ensure proper execution and documentation
Ensure compliance with internal processes and company guidelines; recommend process improvements to enhance scheduling, monitoring, and reporting efficiency
Effectively communicate project status, risks, and performance to engineering teams, management, and customers
Utilize MS Project to develop and manage detailed program schedules
Requirements
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Prior experience in project management capabilities, including stakeholder management, cost control, risk management, and schedule execution
Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
Proficiency in MS Project scheduling and critical path management
Experience with Engineering Change processes
Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to “work the fundamentals” — balancing hands-on technical engagement with high-level project oversight
