Promotes and maintains social, emotional, cognitive and physical skill development of the patient while promoting positive attitudes, confidence, and independence.
Provides individual therapeutic recreation services and group recreation programs for children and adolescents hospitalized for orthopedic and/or burn surgical intervention or long term rehabilitation programs.
Provides abundant play and normal life experiences to promote development and alleviate misconceptions.
Licensed or eligible to sit for licensure in state of practice (in states where applicable)
CPR/BLS required
Valid driver’s license required
1 years Pediatric Recreational Therapy experience preferred
