Role Overview
- Research industry standards such as IEEE, NEMA, ANSI and ASTM to determine technical requirements.
- Create and use documents and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Research vendor information on the internet.
- Perform Technical Evaluations of Replacement Items (EPRI NP-6406)
- Resolve Receipt Inspection discrepancies (EPRI NP-6629).
- Perform “Like for Like” and alternate replacement equivalency evaluations.
- Perform safety classification determinations (EPRI NP-6895)
- Perform commercial grade item dedication (EPRI NP-5652 & TR-102260).
- Understand lot formation and sampling plans as part of dedication testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering
- 8 years' experience in nuclear procurement, procurement engineering or material management
