Role Overview
- Responsible for designing, packaging and optimizing various components of the vehicle
- Develops world-class, robust engineering solutions for the Fire Apparatus industry
- Collaborate in customer specification reviews and product planning meetings
- Conduct research and analysis of customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data
- Verify designs through calculations & other analytical techniques and tools
Requirements
- 4 years bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- Advanced knowledge and practical use of drawing and drafting standards
- Proficiency in CAD systems – PTC CREO or equitant 3D software
- Knowledge of NFPA/FMVSS standards related to Fire Apparatus is not required but will be beneficial
