Prepare project financial performance, including analysis of profit and loss (P&L) statements, forecasts and variances to ensure alignment with budgets and financial objectives.
Review and interpret project contracts to ensure invoicing, scope of work and financial reporting comply with contractual terms.
Manage billing processes, validate subcontractor and supplier costs, and ensure billing is accurate, complete and timely.
Prepare project-level financial reports, cost-to-complete estimates and summaries to support management decision-making.
Identify financial risks or variances and implement corrective actions to maintain strict control over costs and margins.
Supervise and support the financial analyst by setting priorities, improving processes and strengthening project-related financial controls.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
CPA designation is an asset but not required
Experience in project accounting, project control or a finance role in a construction-related environment
Bilingual: fluent in French and English
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead, prioritize and coordinate work in a multi-deadline environment and with diverse stakeholders
Excellent organizational and time management skills
