Develop and execute category strategies for capital and energy procurement, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder priorities
Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives including e-sourcing, RFI, RFP, RFQ and negotiation strategies
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to support capital procurement, develop and execute spending strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate risks
Track and report on sourcing pipeline and savings initiatives
Manage, maintain and update supplier contracts and agreements
Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular business and performance reviews
Communicate effectively, lead meetings, make presentations, and maintain professionalism by using core competencies and company values
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant legal, ethical and risk requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experiences in lieu of the degree
5+ years of experience in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations or related areas
Experience acquiring capital assets and developing OEM and Integration suppliers
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
Proven experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies that drive operational excellence
Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract law, supplier relationship management and supply chain technologies
Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills
Ability to travel to Copeland locations/suppliers domestically and globally occasionally
