Role Overview
Preparing the quarterly investment forecast
Analyzing both actual and forecasted results
Presenting analysis to key stakeholders such as Business Unit Finance teams, the CIO organization, and Senior Management
Focusing analysis on drivers impacting invested asset balances and investment income
Maintaining a strong control environment to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reported results
Delivering clear, insightful analysis to communicate the underlying story to stakeholders
Partnering with CIO portfolio management teams to deepen understanding of investment portfolio activities and strategies
Developing analytical models
Preparing ad hoc analyses for senior management
Requirements

Promotes a team environment with a focus on associate development
Demonstrates working knowledge of investment securities and related accounting treatments (GAAP, RBC, STAT)
Undergraduate or Master’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA or CFA designation preferred; MBA is a plus
Strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting
Solid understanding of investment securities and related accounting
Experience with STAT accounting is a plus
Reliable, accountable, and able to work under tight deadlines
Effective collaborator and team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Displays leadership and talent management awareness
