About this role
Role Overview
Serve as technical expert for Team Members including technical training, as required.
Serve as technical expert of assigned area during vehicle launches.
Support daily production issues as required.
Prepare presentations/reports on current projects, progress, and issues to management.
Understand and control labor allocation.
Coordinate and lead project activities, including new equipment installation, supplier selection, and implementation phases.
Analyze and continuously improve performance of assigned area (safety, quality, production, cost, and human factors).
Participate in Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and other problem-solving teams, as directed by Senior Management.
Continually review technical developments in area of responsibility and propose new technology projects as appropriate.
Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
Meet all other requirements as assigned.
Requirements
Management Experience with vehicle production (Minimum 5years)
Experience with production (Minimum 5years)
Knowledge and experience in data analysis and developing proposal
Off-line work (repair work) experience (or expert) in assembly line
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent desired
Job related experience in an engineering/industrial environment
Experience or knowledge of set-up process for new assembly plant
Experience or knowledge of hiring and education process for new assembly plant.
