Role Overview
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and secure data architecture, pipelines, and systems
- Ensure the integrity, performance, and delivery of data solutions
- Guide the data engineering team and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align data solutions with business goals
- Design, build, and scale robust ETL pipelines
- Automate and manage data ingestion from diverse sources
- Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval layers
- Modernize and enhance legacy data systems
- Ensure end-to-end data quality, integrity, and governance
- Drive a data-driven culture and long-term data strategy
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in IT
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
- Proven experience in ETL pipeline development
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Understanding of modern data architecture patterns
- Ability to optimize data workflows and troubleshoot complex data issues
- Strong project management skills
