work within the Fuels and Digital Engineering team of Global Nuclear Fuel – Americas (GNF)
manage engineers performing safety analysis in support of various applications including BWR transient analyses and thermal hydraulic analyses
demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives
support the development of technical talent and depth within the team
provide leadership, resources and training needed to assure high quality deliverables in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures and regulatory agency guidelines
support the development, maintenance and control of the licensing and design bases and improvement of analysis processes
interface with project management and direct resources to execute to defined project work schedules and priorities
monitor and enforce compliance with policies and procedures
interface with internal customers, external customers and the NRC on technical issues
act as a leader in company / business initiatives
support GVH quality requirements, including participation in design reviews, initiating and responding to Condition Reports, identifying and providing needed training and mentoring, maintaining adequate levels of qualified personnel
Requirements
B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical or similar)
Minimum 7 years of experience in a technology or engineering role
Operating at a senior level within the organization
Knowledge of project management
Strong delivery mindset
Experience with Services and NPP projects
Previous technical leadership experience or ownership in key technical areas
Working knowledge of applied statistical framework of nuclear reactor core and fuel licensing, technical specifications, safety margin basis, and related Federal Regulations.
Knowledge of nuclear analysis processes and the related interfaces between the GE Energy
Nuclear businesses
