Works with full guidance to complete assignments of broad scope and complexity with few precedents or standards
Applies knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices in power systems engineering to resolve basic problems
Expands breadth of knowledge to other areas of specialty or further develops expertise and specialization in one area (i.e. reliability)
As assigned, support efforts to review and collect information related to possible ignition events
Partner with leadership, peers, staff departments and matrix organizations to improve overall business results

Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at an accredited University
Students must be continuing their education towards degree during and/or after the internship
Must have reliable transportation to and from work location
3.0 GPA or greater in both cumulative GPA and major GPA (Desired)
Planning on pursuing a concentration or has taken coursework in power systems engineering (Desired)
General Knowledge of Utility Industry (Desired)
Knowledge of power systems, power flow analysis, protection, voltage stability, and distribution planning (Desired)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (Desired)
Familiarity with Foundry and python and SQL scripts (Desired)
Ability to work in a team environment and support fellow team members (Desired)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills (Desired)
Strong communication skills, both oral and written (Desired)
