Registered Nursing Consultant

Role Overview

• Consultation and statewide oversight of Florida Administrative Rule 65G-7 Medication Administration.
• Technical assistance to regional staff and community stakeholders on all medication administration rule issues.
• Oversight of reporting of death, data aggregation, trending, and analysis.
• Develop and participate in program policy, operating procedures, handbooks, manuals, and other agreements.
• Consultation for health-related support and services.

Requirements

• Four years of professional nursing experience.
• Two years of supervisory or administrative capacity.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License or other efficient means of transportation.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with development/intellectual disabilities.
• Knowledge of Nursing principles, practices, and clinical techniques.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and create Power Point presentations.
• Ability to develop and conduct trainings.
