Provide operational and program delivery support to frontline services in provincial parks.
Coordinate contract procurement and management support.
Oversee Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program coordination.
Manage operational logistics support including fleet and staff housing, telecommunications, and technology deployment.
Ensure the long-term functionality and regulatory compliance of infrastructure and facilities.
Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs in response to asset failures.
Requirements
University degree in a related field (Public Administration, Environment, Park or Recreation Management or Municipal Management).
Minimum of four years’ progressive experience, preferably in park and municipal operations, financial management, contract administration and/or project management.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (or equivalent).
Leading and supporting a diverse team of technical and professional staff.
Building effective relationships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Analyzing complex issues, developing solutions, and providing strategic and tactical planning recommendations.
Managing complex budgets and making informed financial decisions within established frameworks.
Communicating effectively, negotiating, managing projects, thinking creatively, and working within broad conceptual guidelines.
