Oracle Applications Database Administrator – DoD Experience

Role Overview

• Perform application and database management and maintenance activities
• Support routine maintenance including problem defect analysis and resolution
• Support and monitors system performance diagnosing software and hardware failures to resolution
• Support service outages, including backups and restores
• Support patch management and distribution capabilities
• Perform data cleansing services, verify data integrity, and implement access controls
• Support database configuration, monitoring, and tuning
• Support logs and alerts, access rights and roles
• Supports Systems Development, Migration, and Integration efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of IT experience
• Prior experience with Agile Development Methodologies
• Performance tuning development experience
• Experience using WebLogic for Oracle EBS R12.2 web tier and Oracle OEM13c
• Experience with installation and support of Oracle RAC, SuperCluster, R12.2 and 19c database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience upgrading Oracle databases
• Able to obtain an IT-II background investigation
• COMPTIA Security Plus certification
