Senior Naval Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

• Provide technical support to NAVSEA/NSWC/MSC clients in developing Navy ships
• Lead engineering efforts on ship design programs
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with teammates
• Advise on electrical generation and propulsion systems best practices
• Stay current in modern ship design requirements and technologies

Requirements

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Engineering (BSE/BE)
• BS/AS in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or marine engineering; or similar background
• 8-15 years of experience in Naval Ship Engineering
• Five years of experience in US Navy or related projects
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to read technical electrical documentation
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
