Perform engineering design and structural analysis for steel structures and concrete foundations
Prepare calculations, drawings, and reports under the guidance of senior engineers
Collect, review, interpret, and integrate design requirements from customers, suppliers, and the parent company
Prepare and review engineering technical requirements to support the overall project proposal and bid strategy
Review customer specifications and prepare technical clarifications and deviations
Prepare budgets, bids, technical requirements, and commercial requirements
Plan and review deliverable schedules, including project documentation and equipment
Work with suppliers to develop budgets and pricing estimates
Ensure arrangement and foundation interface information meets requirements
Interface with internal and external teams to ensure that design interface information for structural commodities is accurate and properly accounted for
Establish corrective actions to reduce nonconformances and improve quality
Carry out other responsibilities as assigned to meet evolving project and organizational needs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Civil Engineering with focus in Structural Engineering is required.
A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related engineering field.
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
Familiarity with ASCE 7 , AISC 360 , and ACI 318 are desired.
Experience with Earthquake Engineering concepts and tools such as SAP2000 , STAAD.Pro , and AutoCAD is desired.
