Build and maintain core data models for Greenhouse Recruiting and emerging business lines
Establish global modeling standards using dbt to ensure a single source of truth across the organization
Design and implement automated data quality frameworks and observability pipelines to catch regressions
Partner with Product Engineering to bridge the gap between application databases and the analytical warehouse
Own the Greenhouse Data Catalog to ensure every core dataset is documented, owned, and discoverable
Develop and enforce data governance policies including naming conventions, testing requirements, and documentation standards
Standardize the metrics layer to ensure consistent reporting across core business functions
Drive reporting consistency and technical best practices across decentralized teams of analysts and power users

Requirements
5+ years of experience as a data engineer or analytics engineer
Proven expertise using dbt to create complex data models, specifically for B2C or SaaS environments
Track record of building frameworks and processes that enable central data teams to drive global consistency
Experience modeling complex datasets for recruiting or similar core business functions
Strong ability to manage data discoverability tools and enforce organizational documentation standards
Ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and manage distributed stakeholders
Experience with automated testing and observability pipelines, a plus
