Define and execute hardware validation plans in accordance with best practice in test engineering and design of experiments.
Ensure test coverage aligns with product risk, safety classification, and industrial use conditions.
Identify validation gaps early and drive closure prior to certification or release.
Perform in‑house pre‑compliance testing for emissions, immunity, ESD, EFT, and surge.
Characterize failures, document root causes, and work with hardware and layout teams on corrective actions.
Coordinate third‑party compliance testing and certification.
Own or support environmental testing including shock, vibration, temperature, humidity, and related stresses.
Ensure test conditions reflect real‑world installation and operating environments.
Develop and enhance test automation to increase repeatability and reduce manual effort.
Create automated test setups, scripts, and data‑capture methodologies where applicable.
Standardize test procedures, fixtures, and report across programs.
Act as an independent verifier to identify issues missed during feature‑focused development cycles.
Reduce certification failures, late‑stage defects, and field escapes through disciplined testing.
