Administer, design, and develop enterprise database systems to support organizational applications
Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database management systems
Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies
Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with applicable standards and methodologies
Implement and enforce database standards and best practices
Support database development activities including schema design and query optimization
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development, test, and production environments
Develop and maintain technical documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures
Requirements
A four-year degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a related Information Technology (IT) role
Demonstrated experience with database administration, design, and development
Experience working with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
Experience applying database standards and industry methodologies
Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher
