Lead and supervise daily custodial and housekeeping operations
Manage and direct custodians and cleaning staff to meet performance and quality standards
Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure proper building coverage
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance
Respond to client requests and maintain strong communication with department leaders
Review work orders and assign labor efficiently to maximize productivity
Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and local regulations
Monitor inventory levels and manage custodial supply usage
Control labor costs and supply expenses to maintain budget expectations
Train, coach, and develop custodial team members
Maintain required documentation, records, and compliance reporting
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in custodial operations
Must read, write effectively, and apply discretion and comprehensive understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
Requires knowledge of machinery related to custodial operations
Requires listening, interpersonal, computer and leadership skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics and apply elementary math functions
Ability to work well under time constraints
Must maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients and co-workers
Is adaptable to customer needs
