Lead an engineering team to support the Marine Systems Missile Launch Programs
Ensure engineering efforts are planned and executed to deliver quality work products
Lead the development and implementation of the technical roadmap strategy
Ensure the business is appropriately staffed and enable resource sharing across multiple business areas
Drive predictable program financial results
Drive engineering strategy and practices in support of the OU’s portfolio, including but not limited to investments and talent strategy
Lead talent cultivation with continued focus on retention efforts, and engagement initiatives
Prioritize engineering investments aligned with strategic imperatives
Demonstrate thought leadership on digital transformation
Travel up to 25% of the time to support distributed team
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline) with 10 years of engineering experience; OR a Master's Degree in STEM with 8 years of engineering experience; OR a PhD in STEM with 5 years of engineering experience
U.S Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
8 years of professional experience in the defense or aerospace industries
5 years demonstrated success managing technical teams
5 years of experience working in a technical role
Strong engineering background with demonstrated experience managing through design and production
Solid understanding of engineering process with execution experience
Experience with Earned Value Management System
