Manages a team of Relationship Specialists who perform a variety of commercial banking support activities
Responsible for sustainable hiring practices, training, coaching, and developing direct reports
Accountable for Relationship Specialists’ compliance with federal and state regulations
Assists in all efforts to correct and improve compliance through remediation
Acts as a liaison with other areas of the bank
Hires, onboards, manages, trains, coaches, mentors, and develops new and existing Wholesale Relationship Specialists
Coordinates and prioritizes the Relationship Specialists’ pipeline assignments
Manages and responds to daily incoming client requests, inquiries, and escalated issues
Logs and resolves customer complaints and dissatisfactions
Extracts, formats, organizes, and distributes departmental reports
Performs data validation and analysis of team metrics and manages related coaching opportunities
Executes and adheres to all federal and state regulations governing bank operations
Serves as final reviewer and approver of customized/complex loan packages
Maintains superior working knowledge of the Bank’s Treasury Management products and services
Maintains exceptional working knowledge of specialized loans
Completes all assigned training and confirms direct reports complete training
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Seven plus years commercial or retail banking or industry related experience required
Three plus years of commercial and/or commercial real estate loan and deposit experience required
Management and mentorship experience preferred
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving proficiency
Superior time management
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication

Exemplary analytical skills
First-rate computer skills relevant to the Microsoft 365 Suite
Expert proficiency in commercial loan documentation, including specialized loans
Advanced working knowledge of business deposit accounts
Working knowledge of banking software programs
Experience with Construction Management software, bank loan documentation software, loan origination software, customer relationship management programs, Core bank applications, and Q2-online banking platform preferred.
