About this role
Role Overview
Play a key role in supporting Supply Chain cross-functional business partners, regional leaders, and finance partners
Focus on optimizing and scaling for growth through enhanced KPI and reporting visibility
Work closely with senior leadership and other internal stakeholders to drive brand performance through analytical insights and financial support
Enhance financial performance management of Global Inventory as a critical measure of the financial health of business
Develop and report against Global and Regional inventory financial forecast models, inclusive of KPIs
Partner with Regional Finance and Supply Chain leaders to understand key trends and drivers of monthly Global financial results
Lead the completion of monthly and quarterly corporate reporting, ensuring information is consistent with requirements
Partner with Supply Chain to understand and capture supply data and align on operational actions to achieve targets
Partner with Accounting team to evolve and streamline processes to enhance reporting accuracy and timeliness
Partner with Amer to evolve reporting granularity to support performance measurement
Partner with Data & Analytics team to implement dashboards and automation tools
Implement key cross-functional initiatives in support of accuracy and predictability of inventory costing
Centralize and publish key inventory inputs to leverage in P&L planning across FP&A teams
Requirements
5+ years proven experience in Finance and/or Financial Planning & Analysis role, ideally with experience in inventory management
In-depth understanding of the drivers of inventory at a vertical retail brand
Experience in multi-currency, global consolidated reporting
Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent and ideally have your CPA, CMA, CA, CFA, or MBA
Exceptional attention to detail
Advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel and data analysis tools
Highly proficient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) tools
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with individuals across departments, organizations, and countries
Ability to coordinate and lead projects to completion
Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
Ability to effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
Inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
