Role Overview
- Design and build products that translate anonymized behavioral signals into leading indicators for financial performance.
- Research and create proprietary indices for financial services clients.
- Perform rigorous backtesting on new and existing products against historical financial outcomes.
- Implement anonymization techniques to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with external researchers/clients to refine product requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, math, or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years in Data Science
- Mastery of large-scale SQL data environments (e.g. Snowflake)
- Proficiency in Python
- Deep understanding of financial markets
- Experience building scalable data pipelines
