Under the direction of a manager or other supervisor of the unit assigned within Municipal Finance Services, the incumbent assists in reviewing and analyzing designated accounts and in preparing various financial reports.
Requirements
Postsecondary studies
completion of the first year of college or university studies in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance
At least four, but not more than eight months of relevant experience in a business and/or customer service setting
Preferred: Experience related to accounting and/or finance
Basic knowledge of accounting and finance concepts and principles
Computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, and SAP
Demonstrated tact, patience, initiative, reliability, thoroughness and accuracy in work; ability to work in an organized manner, meet deadlines and a willingness to learn
Access to a reliable and efficient means of transportation for performing the duties of the position
Language requirements: Varying language requirements; fluency in English, French OR both languages may be required.
