Responsible for the daily programming of a camp within the Inclusive Recreation Unit
Adapt programs
Provide necessary interventions
Collaborate with camp staff members
Ensure the inclusion of preschool-aged children and other children and youth with special needs registered in the camps
Provide a safe and enjoyable experience for participants.

Must be at least 16 years old
Post-secondary studies (completed first year of college or university)
Recreation and Leisure, Psychology, Sociology, Developmental Services Worker, etc.
At least 8 months, but not more than 1 year of relevant experience required
Valid General First Aid certificate, CPR Level C, and AED
LAPHO/NAI accessibility training
Crisis prevention/intervention training certification
Preferred training in alternative communication systems (ASL: American Sign Language)
Certification in safe lifting and ergonomic transfer operations is an asset
Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and of actual or potential workplace health and safety hazards.
