About this role
Role Overview
Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.
Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
Work in a wide variety of municipal and industrial settings, including but not limited to drinking water & wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, food & beverage processing facilities, etc.
Submits prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
Follows safe work practices according to company policy.
Executes administrative activities in support of service visits.
Daily travel to customer sites. This role will be based in San Diego, CA, area and support our customers throughout the territory. Company-paid travel, accommodations, and meals are provided for overnight stays.
Requirements
HS Diploma required; Associates/technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
Mechanical aptitude is a must
experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair.
2+ years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles preferred.
A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to rent a car and/or hotel rooms under applicable state law are required.

8 weeks in the field working side by side with a dedicated trainer & 2 weeks classroom-based training in Loveland, CO.
