Role Overview
- Identify risks and opportunities related to ESG factors and integrate them into the investment strategy
- Provide specialized advice on industry-specific ESG issues to inform investment decisions
- Support portfolio management teams in ESG integration, research, biodiversity analysis, engagement, and performance reporting
- Contribute to investment performance through thorough, high-quality ESG research
- Develop, implement, and oversee relevant performance indicators
- Participate in the development and evolution of science-based targets (SBTi)
- Draft and guide ESG policies to support investment decision-making
- Manage ESG data, its storage, and system upgrades to automate processes
- Calculate and review GHG emissions related to investments per PCAF methodology and communicate the results
- Contribute to the drafting and production of strategic reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or another relevant field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably within a financial institution
- The CFA charter and/or a relevant certification is an asset
- Advanced proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written
