About this role
Role Overview
Lead the design and integration of jet engines for military fixed-wing applications, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.
Lead engine related systems integration, design and support for military fixed wing (CCA, F124, TFE1042) applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, driving operational excellence.
Leadership capability with diverse, cross functional international team
Escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
Bias toward creative thinking and innovation in product design and approach to everyday work
Implement design-to-cost and variation-reduction strategies
Promote and build strong team, culture and working relationships
Requirements
Due to US export control laws, must be a US Citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status
5 or more years US Military Service or Aerospace experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering desired
Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business (MBA)
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage workload.
Prior systems engineering experience either through direct industry experience or education/training.
Ability to execute complex projects in an organized and efficient way
Capability to facilitate interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts tactfully and effectively.
Ability to escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization
Focus on results and effective execution of projects
Excellent oral and written communications.
Experience using DOORS, CAMEO, SysML, and/or other RBE/MBE programs
Aerospace, Mechanical or Systems Engineering Degree
