Lead a team of diagnostics engineers providing exceptional customer experience to operators of commercial aircraft engines
Identify and hire talented individual contributors, including acting as a liaison for our early engineering development program (Edison Program)
Develop existing members of the staff
Maintain a positive working environment, balancing the needs of the business and advocating for team needs
Provide input on 3-5 year strategic plans on the future in predictive aircraft maintenance
Manage medium scale projects with accountability
Drive adoption of FLIGHT DECK (Lean) principles within the team and the organization
Collaborate across the greater Fleet Support organization to ensure seamless delivery of products
Interpret simple internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services
Requirements
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of technical leadership experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of technical leadership experience).
Background in aviation or aerospace, with a strong appreciation for the industry’s dynamics and customer expectations
Proven customer relationship skills, with a track record of building trust, managing complex stakeholders, and representing the organization with credibility
Exceptional oral and written communication skills and executive presence, able to clearly convey complex topics and influence at all levels of an organization
Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities, inspiring collaboration, accountability, and high performance across diverse teams
Demonstrated commitment to developing talent, including coaching, mentoring, and building future leaders
Analytical problem-solving ability, with experience diagnosing issues, evaluating options, and driving to effective, data-informed solutions
Proven experience leading programs and projects, from concept through execution, delivering on time and within scope
Ability to document, plan, position, and successfully execute initiatives and programs, ensuring clarity of objectives, milestones, and outcomes
Established project management skills, including risk management, prioritization, and clear progress tracking
