About this role
Role Overview
Collaborate with and support teams of Instrumentation & Controls engineers on power plant projects
Contribute to technical design, procurement, planning, and coordination efforts for new and expanding power generation facilities
Participate in engineering studies and detailed design for power plants, including critical Balance of Plant systems
Mentor lower-level engineers, review and provide oversight of their work or assignments
Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program
Minimum of 1 year related work experience
Previous I&C design experience for large scale power plants preferred
Experience in developing control system network architecture diagrams, I/O list, instrument data sheets, control narratives, control logic diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for control and instrumentation, and procurement specifications for I&C equipment preferred
Experience in instrumentation and process automation systems applications and selection
Ability to be both an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
Willingness to learn processes and procedures specific to the power industry
