Provide financial leadership, support, and analysis to numerous early and late-stage clinical development programs in the Neuropsychiatry Disease Area
Responsible for all financial aspects related to the programs, including strategic decision support and valuations
Responsible for clinical development spend forecasting and providing insights into key business drivers for assigned programs
Support financial forecast cycles and updates (BP, JU, LRFP, NU, etc.), quarterly close processes, integrated business planning, and special projects
managing and communicating financial risks & opportunities
Responsible for valuation modeling and leading financial analysis of assigned programs for all TA and IM R&D governance reviews
Strong partnership with Clinical Development Teams, IM Commercial, Global Commercial Strategy Organization, Value Chain Management, Clinical Supply and Operations
Proactively partner with Compound Development Teams to drive compound strategy across the Neuroscience R&D portfolio
Analyze the value of project investments in support of strategic program decision-making and scenario analysis
Partner with Business Development in support of external innovation opportunities, when applicable
Requirements
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
A CPA, CMA or MBA degree is preferred
A minimum of 3 years of finance, accounting, or related business experience is required
Highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and proven leadership skills
Ability to work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required
Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills is required
Experience with SAP is preferred
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions, etc.) are required
