About this role

Integral part of the product design team creating next generation of CNN mobile apps
Collaborate with senior product designers, product managers, and engineering on features and tickets
Shape requirements and deliver detailed final files for build
Participate in QA and testing with cross-functional team
Collaborate on plans for testing and research
Utilize and evolve Design System patterns as needed

2+ years' work experience as a Product Designer
Knowledge of visual design elements including typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
Design portfolio highlighting work in native mobile experiences
Familiarity with collaboration with internal stakeholders such as product management and engineering
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud tools
Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
Interest in content creation, strategy, and communication is desirable; media experience is a plus.
