About this role
Role Overview
Assist in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within assigned industries or territories.
Support senior BDMs in developing tailored FX and global payment solutions for potential clients.
Contribute to the execution of sales strategies to meet or exceed annual revenue and acquisition targets.
Prepare pitch materials, proposals, pricing analyses, and product overviews for client meetings.
Participate in initial client conversations to understand international payment workflows and FX risk exposure.
Coordinate with onboarding, compliance, and operational teams to ensure seamless new-client setup.
Provide ongoing support to existing clients to optimize platform usage and improve transaction throughput.
Build foundational knowledge of foreign exchange markets, currency products, and hedging tools offered by Convera.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to support effective positioning.
Communicate updates on market movements or product enhancements to internal stakeholders and prospects.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client insights within CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Analyze client transaction data to identify potential revenue opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Support the creation of internal reporting, sales dashboards, and forecasting documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
1–3 years of experience in sales, financial services, fintech, or client‑facing roles (preferred but not required).
Strong interest in foreign exchange, global payments, and financial technology.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Comfortable working with data and technology platforms; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
