Maintains and analyzes back office settlement data resulting from PSE’s transmission-related services and its participation in the California ISO Western Energy Imbalance Market
Assures compliance with related government standards and PSE business practices as well as internal controls
Performs financial, statistical, and operational studies to support initiatives and on-going reporting needs of PSE’s Clean Energy Strategy
Researches and analyzes operational data, accounting problems and recommends and/or implements appropriate actions to resolve identified problems
Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities
Promotes and supports a culture of total safety

Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations
Assists with transmission settlements analysis and billing
Performs settlement quality meter data analysis
Reviews impacts of PSE OATT and departmental business procedures
Prepares FERC and regulatory reporting for supervisor review, approval or signature
Ensures compliance with FERC/NERC procedures
Develops and prepares complex ad hoc reporting and data analysis
Acts as customer interface and liaison, assures customer compliance with business requirements
Provides recommendations for system / process improvement and automation
Interacts with PSE accounting and financial departments as needed
Support CAISO Western Energy Imbalance Market settlement quality meter data
Review/update reported PSE and 3rd Party meter data for accuracy and quality
Submit required settlement quality meter data to market operator at required intervals
Work with Meter and Operations staff to maintain reported meter data accuracy
Support EIM Settlements and Transmission Billing as needed
Work with internal/external IT professionals to develop new features/ensure accuracy of software tool
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working in accounting or data analysis
Knowledge and familiarity with basic business office software
Excellent problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
