Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to build and improve our consumer-facing platform
Design, develop, and deploy high-quality front-end and back-end code that improves the solar buying experience
Participate in the full development lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation, testing, and deployment
Champion code quality through thoughtful reviews and strong testing practices to ensure reliability and scalability
Help raise the bar through continuous improvement, including proposing solutions, participating in retrospectives, and strengthening team processes

2+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping high-quality work
Strong proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Javascript
Experience with modern front-end frameworks, with React strongly preferred
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers
A passion for solving complex problems and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative, ask questions, and propose solutions
