Provide technical support to manufacturing and repair organizations by developing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes, documentation, and standards
Partner closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure products meet internal and customer requirements
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Maintain a technical knowledge base for gas turbine sub-assemblies, measurements, drawings, and applicable standards
Support Manufacturing Engineering with nonconformance dispositions
Implement and review templates, process sheets, specifications, and work instructions
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives
Review and approve technical reports
Ensure proper and accurate documentation is maintained in assembly areas
Support process optimization, automation integration, and removal of non-value-added work
Support ISO 9001 audits and ongoing compliance efforts
Validate products meet or exceed internal and customer requirements
Interpret and create engineering drawings
Interpret and create lift plans
Design lift fixtures and define lifting equipment inspection requirements
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing experience (MS degree may substitute two years)
Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, drawings, and programming as applicable
Ability to meet physical demands of a manufacturing environment
