Work closely with the Portfolio Construction & Investment Strategy (PCIS) team’s Wealth Portfolio Strategist(s) to lead the development and ongoing enhancement of customized model portfolios for retail wealth advisors using mutual funds, ETFs and other managed investment solutions
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on select managed investment products, including performance analysis, risk characteristics, portfolio fit, peer and benchmark comparisons to support PCIS’ product selection decision
Lead the development and ownership of written commentary related to asset allocation decisions, portfolio optimization, risk exposures and other considerations to support the adoption of customized model portfolios
Lead and coordinate internal team operations, including workflow management, activity tracking, and process improvements

5+ years of experience in wealth and/or asset management with a managed product research/development or investment/portfolio consulting focus
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field
CFA Level II completed preferred
Strong understanding of managed investment products landscape (mutual funds, ETFs, etc)
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Morningstar Direct, VBA experience is a strong asset
Experience with factor modelling and stress testing using Barra and/or other relevant tools is a plus
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only
