Provide process improvement and data analysis/procurement modeling support to the Supply Chain team and other key Supply Chain stakeholders within Lexington Medical Center (LMC), including the Physician Network.
Support and maintain Supply Chain Management systems to maximize effectiveness of Financial and Supply Chain business operations by working collaboratively with all internal Supply Chain customers as well as stakeholders within LMC.
Assists operation subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity regarding sourcing of medical products, utilization trends, RFP response modeling, KPI dashboarding, verification of procedures to be performed, and portfolio/service line analysis of savings, spend, and the schedule to which both occur.
Responsible for maintaining service line portfolio integrity regarding data, price, Payor mix, utilization, and products brought into LMC via the Value Analysis process.
Assists with planning and implementation of sourcing strategy initiatives and supporting analytics/modeling for Supply Chain Services in collaboration with clinical service line leaders and stakeholders across LMC as well as members of the Supplier community.
This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting complex healthcare data to support business and clinical initiatives.
Serves as the Supply Chain materials management information systems technology lead regarding maintenance and upkeep of the item master, Oracle Cloud initiatives regarding Supply Chain, and all maintenance and reporting as necessary.
Serves as analytics lead for LMC Supply Chain Services on various high dollar clinical/non-clinical initiatives across LMC as assigned by the VP of SC.
Liaison for perioperative, Cath Lab, IR and other strategic PPI (Physician Preference Item) areas and Supply Chain leadership.
Provides product analysis to support Value Analysis functionality as well as modeling throughput of critical supplies.
Models and constructs data to build sourcing strategies and potential outcomes regarding stakeholder requirements and supplier response.
Analyze and interpret complex healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and monitor Supply Chain financial performance.
Configure ad hoc reports from Oracle and GHX to meet sourcing initiative modeling requirements, as well as related response to data inquiries from system stakeholders.
Works and collaborates with Decision Support to determine CPT codes for procedures to model cost per case for all service lines, as well as help develop Payor reimbursement models for certain products and procedures.
Develops documentation/procedures to support system sourcing initiatives, contract and pricing models according to department standards.
Develop vendor scorecards and portfolio footprints for major vendors.
Develops Sourcing Portfolios for each service line to include Epic charge process flow for new products introduced into the LMC system.
Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement, Computer Science, or Related Field.
3 Years of Experience in a Combination of Supply Chain Management in Related Business Services Area or Applications/Analytics experience in a Medium to Large Organization.
In lieu of Bachelor's Degree and 3 Years of Experience, will consider either of the following combinations: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field with 8 years’ of related experience in relevant business system area (Finance, Accounting, Material Management, or Inventory Management).
Advanced Excel and/or report writing skills;
Strong Query/SQL skills and other database query and reporting tools;
Proficiency using Oracle/PeopleSoft or related procurement software;
Strong understanding of Financial, Clinical or Supply Chain processes and data.
